About Dr. Emrah Aytac

Dr. Emrah Aytac is a dedicated interventional neurologist at the neurology department of Firat University. He started his medical journey at Ankara Diskapi training and research hospital from 2007 to 2012, and then specialized in neurology at Ankara training and research hospital from 2012 to 2015.

During those formative years, he honed his interventional neurology skills under the guidance of Prof Erdem Gurkas.

He had his first interventional neurology collaboration with Prof. Dr. Adnan Qureshi at ZQSI in 2016, and returned to work with ZQSI again in 2018. This collaboration inspired him to establish the ZQSI Firat Institute within Firat University in 2019.

He continues to contribute to research and stroke care advancement in Turkey through ongoing academic and clinical work.
