On June 3, 2021, their institution and ZQSI signed a Memorandum of Agreement. The collaboration was marked by a Neurosonology seminar featuring local and international speakers. Since then, both sides have co-published articles and co-authored with Neurology and Neurosurgery Intracerebral Hemorrhage (JR NICHE ZQSI).
Current efforts include a clinical trial on cilostazol for preventing vasospasm after subarachnoid hemorrhage due to ruptured aneurysm and a systematic review on ultrasonography utilization. With active stroke specialist involvement, the collaboration continues to expand.
Dr. Navarro's contributions to stroke research and neurology continue to support meaningful international partnerships for improved patient outcomes.
