Dr. Ather Iqbal, MBBS

Dr. Ather Iqbal is a medical graduate of Rawalpindi Medical University, Pakistan, and currently works as a Postdoctoral Research Scholar in the Department of Neurology at the University of Illinois Chicago.

He joined ZQSI at the University of Missouri in December 2025, where Dr. Qureshi contributed to his academic and professional development. Under his mentorship, he refined his research skills and gained experience in data extraction and data collection through neurology clinic visits. This exposure strengthened his ability to contribute to original articles, systematic reviews, and meta-analyses.

Dr. Qureshi's guidance and commitment to research and mentorship provided an environment that supported growth, confidence, and critical thinking. Working with him enhanced Dr. Iqbal's understanding of clinical research methodologies and improved his analytical abilities. His experience at ZQSI influenced his journey in neurology research and motivated him to continue striving for excellence in academic medicine.
