“I began my journey as a clinical researcher under the esteemed mentorship of Dr. Adnan Qureshi at ZQSI in May 2023. Dr. Qureshi, a beacon of success, recognized my potential and honed my abilities. Under his guidance, I acquired skills in running statistical analyses, writing meta-analyses, and conducting cohort studies. Together, we embarked on various projects, resulting in research papers such as “Accuracy of identifying patients for thrombectomy in acute anterior ischemic stroke based on non-contrast CT head,” “Physician Transfer versus Patient Transfer for Mechanical Thrombectomy in Patients with Acute Ischemic Stroke: A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis,” and “Trends in Endovascular Mechanical Thrombectomy in Treatment of Acute Ischemic Stroke in the United States.” In addition to these projects, I had the honor of co-authoring a book chapter on “Secondary Prevention of Stroke” alongside Dr. Qureshi. My tenure at ZQSI transformed my perspective, instilling in me a drive for excellence. It fostered a reflective consciousness, enabling me to introspect and understand my thoughts and behaviors more deeply.”
